Emily is from San Antonio, TX and has played volleyball for 10+ years in club, high school and college. Emily played 8 years of club volleyball in San Antonio at Magic and Force as a setter. She set all 4 years of high school, starting at Clark High School and finishing at Churchill High School where her JV team junior year won district and her varsity team senior year went to the second round in playoffs. Emily then went on to play at East Texas Baptist University as a setter/defensive specialist and graduated in 2020 with a B.S. in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. She then completed her Masters in Public Health at UT Tyler in 2021. Emily is now a Medical Quality Assurance Specialist for the Department of Veteran Affairs and is in the process of applying to medical school. She enjoys spending her free time baking and going on adventures with her dog, Remy!
This will be Emily’s third year coaching club volleyball, and she is ready to share her knowledge and love for the game with the next generation of players. Emily is impressed with United and excited to be a part of such a competitive, virtuous organization. She strives to push young women to grow as both players and people through the challenging and rewarding volleyball environment!
