United VBA Program information

New To The Club

Welcome!!  United VBA is a competitive family-oriented club program for girls ages 10-18.  Tryouts are held in June/July each year for the upcoming season that runs November-May.  Teams that make Nationals play a summer season through July 11th.  We are part of the Lone Star Region www.lsvolleyball.org of USA volleyball https://www.teamusa.org/usa-volleyball/events/girls-indoor.

Age Divisions:  

USA Volleyball Junior Player Age Definitions (26-27' season)

  • 11 & Under  Born on or after July 1, 2015
  • 12's  Born on or after July 1, 2014
  • 13's  Born on or after July 1, 2013
  • 14's  Born on or after July 1, 2012
  • 15's  Born on or after July 1, 2011
  • 16's  Born on or after July 1, 2010
  • 17's  Born on or after July 1, 2009
  • 18's  Born on or after July 1, 2008

Levels Of Play

ADIDAS/PURPLE/BLACK

National Elite Level 

  • 8-10 + Tournaments 
  • Practices 2x (+) per week
  • Season:  Nov 30th - GJNC (May/June/July)
  • November U Prep Training
  • 18 Adidas/Purple:
    • 2 Out of State/3 In-State Qualifiers
  • 15-17 Adidas:
    • 3 Out of State/2 In-State Qualifiers
  • 15-17 Purple/Black; 14 Adidas:
    • 2 Out of State/2 In-State Qualifiers
  • 13/14 Purple
    • 1 Out of State/2 In-State Qualifiers
  • 12-14 Black:  2 In-State Qualifiers
    • Lone Star Classic & Regionals
  • SportsRecruits (15's and Older)
  • Hudl Assist Video
  • Nationals or Summer Event Included  (Adidas/Purple)
  • Summer Collegiate Clinics Included  (Adidas/Purple)
  • Cost Range:  $4,550-$6,600  (2026/2027 Season)

For the serious player who commits to training year-round to excel at the highest level in the sport.  Lessons, clinics, camps should be attended continuously to gain maximum contact of the ball and advancement.  

Team ages:  12 -18 Adidas/Purple/Black. 

Gray/White

Regional Competitive Level 

  • 7-9 Tournaments
  • Practices 2x per week
  • Season:  November 30th - Regionals (Mid-May)
  • November U Prep Training Included
  • Cross Court and Regionals (Houston)
  • Hudl Assist Video
  • Cost Range:  $3,900 (2026/2027 Season)

Regional levels prepare the competitive players for school seasons and training preparation for future advanced national teams.  Clinics and camps help these players develop and get the extra touches needed to improve skills.

Team Ages:  12-14’s Gray/White

 

Local

Local Recreational Level

  • 11's and Under
  • 6 Tournaments
  • Practice 1x per week + 
  • Season:  Nov 30th - Apr 3rd
  • Cost:  $2,300 (2026/2027 Season)

The local level is for a variety of players.  For those whose schedules don’t allow the full seasons of National/Regional teams, financial needs, or skill-based, this is a great option to get started in club and play the game and improve.  Highly recommend outside work (clinics, camps, lessons) to improve skills since only practice 1x per week.
